Day 35: The Trial

Roman guards open the gates and take Jesus. They march through the courtyard followed by the crowd. Pontius Pilate marches out. He's known as the most vicious Roman governor, responsible for the crucifixion of thousands. Pilate demands to know what they want. The Jewish crowd yells that Jesus is confusing their people and that Jesus upset the temple market. They demand a sentence from Pilate. Pilate asks Jesus if he is the King of the Jews. Jesus only replies, "So you say".
