Ergo and Cyro are inside the File Zero looking for Ghora when they discover a very different world. In a small village they find a mysterious character they refer to as "the Good Man." Even though they know they are in a replay of history where they are silent observers, Ergo is sure the stranger has directly looked at him. They follow the Good Man to a house to learn why he acts as he does.
